Every contractor in the Capital Region has a crew. Ours never leaves.

Most remodeling companies bring in a different crew for demolition, another for cabinetry, another for plumbing, and yet another for tile. We do it differently. The same two people who walk through your kitchen on day one are the same two people who hand you the keys when it’s finished. Mark handles vision and planning. Margaret handles design and personal shopping. Together, they manage every phase of your project, no handoffs, no miscommunication, no surprises.

Featured Project

Two-Tone Kitchen Remodel

A complete kitchen remodel in Saratoga Springs — cabinetry, island, and range wall, all designed and built by us.

The room

Built to fit the whole room

Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry runs the length of the kitchen under a coffered ceiling — one continuous design, measured, built, and installed by our own crew.

Kitchen island with prep sink and seating

The island

An island that works for a living

Prep sink, storage on every side, and seating for the family — the island anchors the room without crowding it.

Range wall with custom wood hood and glass-front cabinets

The range wall

The wall the film ends on

A custom hood flanked by glass-front uppers, centered over the range. If you watched the film above — this is the kitchen it freezes on.

Mosaic tile medallion backsplash behind the range

The details

Details you only get from a shop

A mosaic medallion set into the backsplash behind the range — the kind of finishing detail that comes from building cabinetry for a living, not assembling it.

Who you’re working with

Meet Mark & Margaret

Mark, Vision and Planning

Mark

Vision & Planning

Before Mark agrees to a project, he walks every inch of your kitchen. He measures things contractors usually don’t. He asks about the window that gets morning light. Thirty years in, he still shows up to every consultation himself, because that’s when a project gets made or lost.

Margaret, Design and Personal Shopping

Margaret

Design & Personal Shopping

Margaret’s clients don’t pick from a binder. She goes to the tile house, the hardware showroom, the stone yard, for every project. She’s assembled 250 kitchens worth of taste, and she applies all of it to yours. The detail that makes your space feel like your space? That’s Margaret.

The Work

Kitchens we’ve built

What makes this different

One crew, start to finish

No subcontractors rotate through your home. Mark and Margaret are on every project from consultation through final walkthrough. Your project never gets handed off.

Margaret shops in person

No catalogs, no binders, no online swatches. Margaret visits tile houses, stone yards, and hardware showrooms for every single project. She finds the piece that makes your kitchen yours.

Mark on every consultation

The person who plans your project is the person who builds it. Mark walks your space, takes his own measurements, and stays involved through every decision.

How We Work

Four steps. One team the whole way.

01

Consultation

Mark visits your home, walks the space, takes measurements, and listens to how you actually use your kitchen. No sales pitch, just honest conversation.

02

Design & Selection

Margaret shops in person for your materials: tile, stone, hardware, fixtures. You see and touch everything before we order. No guessing from a screen.

03

Construction

Our crew handles demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, tile, and countertops. One team, every trade, no subcontractors.

04

Final Walkthrough

Mark and Margaret walk every inch with you. We do not leave until you are satisfied. Then we clean up. Completely.

  • Mark is simply the best. His craftsmanship and aesthetic simply cannot be beaten in the Capital District. He was my neighbor 30 years ago, and his work was top-notch back then.

Where we work

Serving The Capital District

Saratoga Springs

Victorian homes with character and kitchens that deserve the same. We work with older layouts, period details, and homeowners who want modern function without losing the charm.

Clifton Park

Newer construction with builder-grade kitchens ready for an upgrade. We replace what was standard with what is personal: custom cabinetry, real stone, hardware you chose yourself.

Albany

Row houses, colonials, and mid-century ranches, each with its own constraints and possibilities. We have remodeled kitchens in every neighborhood from Center Square to Pine Hills.

A kitchen worth waiting for starts with one conversation.

When you are ready, we would love to talk. No pressure, no sales pitch, just an honest conversation about your space and what is possible.
