Colonie is the most populous suburb in Albany County, a town that grew from farmland to dense residential through four decades of postwar development. The housing stock reflects that history in layers: 1950s ranches in the older sections near the city line, split-levels and colonials from the 1960s and 1970s in the middle ring, and newer construction in the northern sections near the airport. The range means we see a wide variety of starting conditions when we come to assess a kitchen. A 1955 ranch on Consaul Road has entirely different challenges than a 1985 colonial on Shaker Road. What they share is that both are at an age where the original kitchen has reached the end of its useful life and the owners are ready to invest in something that works. We have completed more projects in Colonie than in any other Albany County community.
Typical Projects in Colonie
